Chief Executive Officer
Paul was previously a Managing Director at Citigroup and Head of Wholesale Execution Services EMEA, spearheading the new wholesale broker to broker business and tasked to integrate electronic trading products with custody and clearing. Prior to Citigroup he was CEO of NYFIX International Ltd, responsible for the build out and launch of NYFIX Euro Millennium MTF (Multilateral Trading Facility – a dark pool).
Previous positions were Sales Director (Europe) for Tamesis Limited,
a real-time trade capture system and a Director (sales) for Sunguard
Infinity Business unit (Germany, Austria & Eastern Europe).
Chairman & Founder
Jerry Lees has been an active entrepreneur in the success of multiple technology and financial businesses. Previously, Global Head of Alternative Execution at Credit Agricole Cheuvreux and Partner on the Executive Committee for 12 years in the Group, firstly in Asia and then Europe. Prior to this Jerry held positions as Director of Liberty (part of Clearstream Bank) – the first global electronic trading and execution platform andHead of Global Operations & Marketing for Quotron International (Citibank), having previously been Founder and MD of Northgate Computer Services, a leading Financial FinTech Company.
Chief Compliance Officer
Pat started his career in the City with Orme & Eykyn (Stockbrokers) in 1971. He moved to Parrish Stockbrokers in 1976, where he became Director of Operations, including responsibility for all Administrative functions. He then moved to First Equity Limited (Equity – Inter Dealer Broker) as Head of Operations, Compliance & HR.
In 1999, he moved to Eden Financial (Stockbrokers, Wealth Management & Asset Management) where he held the role of Group Board Director and COO of Eden Financial, overseeing IT, Operations. He remained there for 14 years, leaving following the sale of its businesses.
Pat has operated as a consultant, advising clients on operational
systems and process issues in financial trading businesses
Global Head Of Sales
Global Head of Sales – Prime Brokerage, Execution and Hedge platform services including FCA incubation and Capital Introduction.
Mark has over 28 years of experience in the Investment Banking Industry – and joined Linear Investments in January 2014.
Working for S.G. Warburg & Co on the European market making and Portfolio Trading Desks from 1987. Following this Mark was a Managing Director at Bear Stearns International where he helped build the European Portfolio Trading sales desk and was a key contact for the Prime Brokerage team. Thereafter Mark held positions on the electronic trading sales desks at CA Cheuvreux (Senior Sales Manager) and Knight Capital (Director).
Head of Agency Brokerage
Previously Managing Director of AQX Securities, Sam joined Linear in April 2015 as the Head of Agency Brokerage.
With a strong background in brokerage and sales including positions as Vice President at ConvergEx Group, Head of Electronic Execution Sales at NYFIX, and Head of European Sales at Easybroker International, Sam brings expertise and experience to his role at Linear.
Chief Operating Officer
Chief Operating Officer of Linear Investments, overseeing the daily
operations of the business as well as the entire IT and Trading Infrastructure
Norman Hartmann started as a Trader at German alternative Asset Manager, Aquila Capital and built the Trading Desk and Infrastructure serving Aquila Group as Global Head of trading. After that the Aquila Trading desk span into AQX Securities a German Regulated Multi Asset Agency only Broker which Norman served as CEO until AQX Assets were acquired by Linear Investments.
Head of Risk
Andrew is responsible for managing and mitigating risk within Linear. He has over 15 years of experience of working on and running electronic trading desks latterly at Credit Agricole Cheuvreux and Newedge.
Having successfully set up numerous technology led businesses within investment banks and brokerage houses, Andrew is an expert in risk, equities infrastructure, technology, business operations and trading.
